The artwork

The motif

A woman, cap pulled low over her face, gold-framed aviator sunglasses, large hoop earrings. On the cap sits a golden crown with drips.

The portrait belongs to the series Classics & Queens. Black and white carry the image, gold sets the accents: on the crown, the glasses, in the hair and on the jacket.

After printing, I take every piece in hand and apply the gold to the canvas with brush and paint. The structure stays visible and tangible. Every piece is made individually.

The artist

Ixi

Art doesn't happen overnight. It happens with passion.

I'm Martina Ixfeld, artist and owner of the IXTIME art gallery in Andernach on the Rhine. It all began in 2012: after many years away from drawing, I picked up a pencil again and decided on realistic portraiture.

For a year I practiced human anatomy until faces emerged from my lines. First came commissions for people, then for animals, and from 2017 for vehicles. Since 2015 I've been teaching drawing courses for children and adults.

In my store in Andernach, on 30 square meters, the works hang on black metal walls, held by magnets instead of nails and lit by Nimbus wall washers. The asphalt of the Nürburgring Nordschleife lies on the floor as a photo backdrop. And there's good coffee.

Does registering secure me a piece or a price?

No. Early access is a head start in time. The price depends on which piece you buy: €150, €200 or €250.

Where do I buy?

In the IXTIME online shop at ixtime.art. We'll let you know when early access starts.

By when do I need to order for Christmas?

The last order day for Christmas is December 6, 2026.

Do I have to provide my mobile number?
